Our flat pouches are printed and die-cut by our external partners in Berlin. Then all further steps take place at our partner production sites in Germany, Poland & Czech Republic. Here the pencil case is folded and sewn.
Afterwards, it looks as it should. To ensure it arrives protected and nicely to you, it is then packed and labeled. In the end, each pencil case has passed through at least 4 pairs of hands.

In 2011, the idea of "Paprcuts" grew louder in Nils' mind. It all started with a party wallet - small, light, stylish. At that time, production in Germany was unthinkable... way too expensive!!
Today we can say that it could certainly be cheaper, that we could certainly earn more, that we have often taken a different path. But at the same time, we are very proud to be able to guarantee fair working conditions & transparency with our partner productions in Germany, Poland & Czech Republic .
We recently asked ourselves, "What do we actually want?" - we want to offer an alternative and continuously question the status quo. We do not want to stand still, but help make consumption more sustainable & colorful.

Paprcuts makes ultra-light, colorful & fair wallets and accessories from high-tech materials like Tyvek, cork, and vegan leather.
Designed in Berlin, our products combine striking patterns with durability, water resistance, and a minimal footprint. Perfect for travel, festivals, and everyday life – functional, stylish, and made to last.
The idea for Paprcuts was born in 2011 when Nils – honestly a bit hungover on the couch – crafted a slim wallet out of newspaper because the bulky leather one in his pocket was annoying him. The first piece lasted only three days, but the idea was born – and has been constantly developed ever since. Today, our products are so durable that with good care they last a lifetime. Or can over a million sold products and satisfied customers be lying?

Behind the brand Roadtyping is the family around Franziska and Marius with their sons Leo and Casper. From the Allgäu, the family regularly starts their adventures - currently they are cruising on a long-term trip through Canada and North America. Long story short: Roadtyping lives its own products!
